I had one of those twitches that leaves me restless until I write something down. So I did. I don't think anyone ever tried to pair Shinou or Daikenja with another woman before. It was always Shinou/Daikenja pairing. So here is what I came up with. The fic is titleless. It is pretty much PG rating fic :3 Read if you're interested.
From a distance, Daikenja could see the two people he loved the most. He believed that he would be okay with it. A sad smile graced his lips momentarily. He could see a happy glow in his General's smile. Who would've known that such happiness he wished for his General would bring such heartache. Right next to the General stood a beauty. She had such clear, innocent eyes. However, it would be a mistake to take her lightly. There was no woman in the world who possessed such strength, beauty, grace, and intelligence.
Shinou and he always joked about falling in love. In fact, Shinou always teased him about how he never had any interest in women. Daikenja lightly scoffed it off at the time and rebuked Shinou's penchant for being such a player. Then, she showed up. Soon enough, he fell deeply in love with her. At the same time, he noticed how Shinou fell in love with her as well. In the end, Shinou's persistence won over her love. He was content to watch from the sidelines as he looked after them from the shadows. After all, what kind of woman would glance his way when they knew full well how cursed he was. Shinou was the very first person to accept him. She was the very first person he fell in love with.
He honestly thought he could watch this until the end. At least, he managed to stay long enough not to bring any suspicions. When an opportunity showed up, he quietly left without anyone's notice. Their wedding certainly was gorgeous. He will mourn for tonight. Tomorrow, he'll be back to what he had always been. He will be the Daikenja, the most trusted advisor and friend to Shinou. He will be content to watch over them.
