All the people you never suspected AKA the Great Sage's slightly odder reincarnations:
- In Harry Potter: Neville Longbottom. Because Shinou wanted to keep a closer eye on Voldemort in case he got to be a danger for the Mazoku. They manipulated the prophecy so that the Sage could kill him if needed, but unfortunately Voldemort went for Harry instead so now Sage-Neville has to work from the background, all the while doing his best to appear completely nonthreatening.
- In Naruto: Uchiha Obito. It explains why he had such trouble getting the Sharingan; he was trying to go against the "black eyes" hardwired into him!
- In FMA: Izumi. I cannot even begin to explain this one. Fury would make much more sense.
- In Batman: Alfred. Because Shinou's kind of worried about the sudden upsurge of metahumans and wants Alfred to go find things out. Hence Batman, crime-fighter and distruster of metahumans worldwide!
- In Ouran: Kyouya. I think it's the Sage having fun being able to be openly manipulative for once.
- In D.Grayman: Komui. Because Murata would get /such/ a kick out of playing evil scientist.
- In Bleach: Mizuki. Ichigo's mostly-comic-relief friend... it's like Murata Ken v 2.0! And I'm pretty sure he's manipulating things behind the scenes
- In Trigun: Rem. Uh. Don't ask.
- In Furuba: Hanajima. Murata is enjoying being mysterious and omniscient
- In Saiyuki: Nii Jienyi. Evil scientist again! Although I need a good explanation for why exactly he's trying to destroy the world; maybe he's sabotaging everything or will switch sides at the last minute and save it after all. It has precedence!
- In Legal Drug: Saiga. Because he's a better option than Rikuou.
Some of these options may be a bit odd *COUGH* Trigun *COUGH* Saiyuki because of a distinct lack of double-black characters. Others may have necessitated a slight adjustment of hair/eye colour.
I've pretty much reached the end of my fandoms (couldn't find any for Silmarillion/LotR, BtVS or Highlander), soo... add your own!
