kawaii_gaara Yuki was having writers block again. Shuuichi suspected it, at least. It was always a familiar pattern of being locked out of the study and having to whine at him from outside the door. why couldn't he pay more attention to him? Maybe he could try and spark some sort of idea that would make him break through the block and finish his story to continue his literary glory! That was Shuuichi's idea of a plan, at least. Yuki was quite content to have him outside so he could focus on what he really needed to. And right now, he needed to clear this dungeon to get to the nearest save point and then he would pretend that his day was rough so he needed to take it out on the vocalist. Shuuichi would be happy, he'd stop hearing his incessant whining which made him happy, and the progress he made in the game was adequate. He was falling a little behind in his story, but Bad Luck would have a gig tomorrow, which gave him plenty of uninterrupted time to get things done - and maybe play a little more of his game. Yuki the video game fan... no one would ever have guessed it, and if someone discovered such a thing, they'd probably never live to see another day.

kawaii_gaara Miyagi was easily frustrated over Shinobu, but usually it was for little things or the simple fact he was often on his mind. However, this time it wasn't something he could over look. Trying to eat burnt cabbage every day was enough of a challenge, but did he have to have that song on repeat, blaring through the room all afternoon? It was much to pop for his taste and aside from ripping the plug out of the wall and tossing it out the window, he walked over and flipped the switch before confronting Shinobu. "I can't concentrate on work with that noise. Learn to cook in silence."
Shinobu's eyebrows furrowed, angrily, while he frowned. Tonight's cabbage he was going to burn on purpose.

kawaii_gaara Nyanko was moderately aware of modern conveniences. Aware. Not well versed. He couldn't quite understand the strange device that Natusme had returned home with and was spending a lot of time with lately. Frankly, it was making the rotund cat irritated. All Natusme would say was that it was for his homework. Psh, who needed homework when there was a fun loving cat - wait, he wasn't a cat - regardless of what he was, he wanted food. Sake too, but food. Manjuu was always a bonus. The one day, Natsume was at school, like he should have been, but Nyanko decided he was going to really inquire as to what this machine was. He poked at it, but not much happened. Kicking and stomping on it didn't do much either until he heard a small 'beep' noise. Jumping back, the screen started to glow and nothing much after that happened. So, seeing as it worked before, he jumped on the keyboard and poked at random things. All it did was make a bunch of nonsense on the screen. Frustrated, he ignored it and left the house. There had to be something more exciting going on in the world.

ladynathena Tomomasa often was in the princess' presence, but it wasn't always for business. She seemed to enjoy his company, but for some reason, being near her sometimes calmed him. It was a different type of calm from the priestess, but it was often welcome. Meeting at night time often lead to rumors and certain rendezvous were almost always taboo. Tomomasa, however, never cared about taboo things, and laughed at rumors (mostly because many were truths). Tonight was a special night, and he made it a point to visit Fuji-hime this evening. The sun had long set, but he knelt politely at her blind, requesting her presence beside him.
"Fuji-hime, it would calm my heart if you were to spare a few moments."
"Tomomasa-dono, it is far too late to be coming to this place. Really, you musn't tease as such."
"I am not hear to tease you, hime. I wish to show you the night sky, adorned with it's ocean of twinkling stars. There are rumors from the west that say wishes can be granted to those that see stars falling from the sky."
Whether or not he was teasing her wasn't really relevant anymore. He was going to do what he wanted and before he came in after her, she stepped outside. Together that sat in silence gazing at the starry sky.
and for the actual 'novel':
