rizukaHaruka’s world seemed red - not a terrifying blood red, but a beautiful warm red. She wasn’t sure how she got to where she was, but as she opened her eyes, she found herself in Yakumo’s embrace. She was distracted by his hands over her half naked body to even try to think about how she ended up this way. It didn’t make any sense as to why, but they were in the heat of the moment when suddenly the scenery changed sharply and she sat sharply at the folded table in the club room that Yakumo lived in.
“I was wondering when you’d stop drooling with that goofy look on my table. Who invited you in to sleep anyway?” Sharp eyes glanced up from a magazine to judge her.
It was all a dream. A huge sigh of relief overpowered Haruka and she started to laugh.
Yakumo’s eyes narrowed at her briefly before going back to his paper. “Be sure to close the door behind you when you’re finished. You clearly have more problems than whatever you came here with.”

Characters: Clyde x Lucinda

emi01They’d been spending time together, which started innocently enough. She wanted to know more about the man she was intended to and Clyde was friendly and helpful, but as time progressed, they both realized that they would be miserable if she were to marry Riffael. It was now or never, Clyde determined. He’d abandon the Raffit family and take her with him. It would be rough, but their freedom from sadness and the rumors that would follow should they proceed with an affair would be even more tragic.
Clyde knew it was dangerous. He’d seen Riffael’s temper before and it was never a good thing. But it wasn’t fair how Lucinda was being neglected, and what kind of life would he be able to provide for her? She’d be terribly miserable with him! Their wedding was quickly approaching, and it didn’t leave Clyde much time to get what he needed together. He’d managed to steal a bit of the family’s money - enough to get them started on their own. It would now be up to them to build their happy home, but together they would somehow make it through.

Characters: Luke, Tear
Rating: PG
Wordcount: 107
Prompt: Garden

rizuka Tear’s garden was always a place she went to when she wanted to be alone. So many things have happened, but the world was stable now. She’d been part of something grand, but couldn’t help but feel empty inside. She’d heard that everyone was on their way to see her, though she couldn’t help but feel sadness because he wasn’t going to be with them. Though she could only pray that one day Luke would return. Their meeting was powerful, but their journey together resonated deeper within than the initial resonance that sparked their travels. The journey had ended but she didn’t want theirs to ever end.

nemrodA lot of things were foreign to the tachikoma. They had a lot of knowledge about many things obtainable on the net, but there were still a lot of abstract concepts they had yet to understand. Some of the concepts that had gotten interesting results about included standard emotions, such as love and hate (love in particular - they got a scolding about some of what they found from Batou and the Major though, they were certain they heard Batou laughing about it later). But when it came to theoretical places, they just didn’t quite understand. The one that stuck in one of the tachikoma’s AI system was the concept of heaven. It was supposed to be a place, yet they couldn’t go there. Descriptions of it were always so variable, but it just couldn’t comprehend a place that so many said existed but no one could actually visit. What was so great about a place you could go to and never come back to tell your friends about it?
