Today is my birthday! I turn thirty today. :-( Oh well, not getting any younger and already the "old man" jokes are coming out in full force on Facebook. My birthday present came in and its a beauty. I had my old wedding band melted down and reshaped into a new ring. It has a Star Ruby in the center. Ruby is my birthstone after all. On the sides I have two princess cut sapphires. Sapphire is the birthstone of September which is what my son's birthday would have been. Finally, the band is 14k White Gold from my wedding band.
