So far, for coding at least, but in general, I've started learning, and then often end up stopping before getting far. The best success I had was Java, which I had a class. I think I need a learning method that involves real projects more, like you would get in a classroom, to effectively learn. I have some online courses I snagged cheap for various programming languages, but they tend to involve a lot of watching videos, and not a lot of project/doing. This applies to other things too, though. I do better when I have a tangible goal in mind, not just "Learn this because I think it will be useful".
For Japanese, I'm thinking of either buying/obtaining some Manga or light novels, in Japanese. Learning to read them would be a tangible goal I could work towards. Would help with the learning to read/write, at least.
RPG Maker Ace tutorials are pretty hands on, if kind of boring in that it's "Here, reproduce this:".
The programming goals, well, I'll have to find something.
Any thoughts?
