all these commercials for certain doctors and certain medicines.. ugh. i hate the way modern medicine is. my mom works for a free clinic and is computer-retarded so i've been helping her with projects like brochures and making a facebook for the clinic.. and i noticed that she'd typed up a comparison of costs to the clinic for certain procedures / whatever, and the RETAIL value. i'm sorry, but medicine and retail should not belong in the same sentence.
people are too fucking concerned with making money, and not with being a good person, or helping their fellow humans. when people say they wants to be doctors, they say "i want to be a doctor so i can help people". i've never heard anyone say "i want to be a doctor so i can make money and not give a fuck about anything except having a mansion and mercedes cars".
personally.. i don't care about the house i live in or what i drive, as long as i have a home that isn't falling apart or that's infested with bugs or something, and as long as i have a reliable car. life, to me, is more about enjoying it, than having everything i want. i hate america and its so called "dream".
