day 4
it's been an intense few days. get in to the office at 8:00 in the morning, leave at 2:30 at night. and then spend an hour or two at the cajun cottage writing a song every night with andrew and then recording it onto the laptop. we named our band "let's make an album" and our album is titled "fuck it, it doesn't have to be good: 7 nights in napoleonville" this baby is going platinum, i can feel it.
trying to get people organized is so much work sometimes for so little result. for every 9 or 10 contacts i try to work, only 1 or 2 will really come through and produce. they have to pull the slack for everybody else. beh.
in other news, i got a call back for a job interview on tuesday with jjpl ( http://www.jjpl.org ) for their communications director position. woohoo! they do great criminal justice and prison reform work. wish me luck.
