new nissan murano tv commercial
there's a new tv commercial airing for the nissan murano:
Man: "How about sushi tonight?"
[car drives by sushi restaurant]
Woman: "Oh, I'm not sure about eating something that's raw."
Man: "How about Chinese?"
[car drives through Chinatown, with a shot of some Peking ducks hanging in the window of a restaurant]
Woman: "Uh, who knows how long those things have been hanging there."
Man: "Ok, I know just the place"
[car pulls through the drive-in of a fast food joint. next the camera shows a shot of inside the car with a WHITE guy handing a HOT DOG to his happy ASIAN wife]
Man: "Happy anniversery!"
Woman (sarcastically): "Wow! Did you get reservations at this place?"
reminded me of that scene from last samurai over the laundry:
tom cruise: let me help you with the laundry.
japanese woman: no, don't, japanese men do not do this.
tom cruise: (speaking in japanese while starting into her eyes intensely) i'm not japanese.
i see another potential hit commercial idea in here, possibly for tide or woolite, no?
