Ka-yu woke up in a slight daze and shifted a bit in his bed. He rubbed his eyes and noticed a red headed woman sleeping beside him. He raised a brow, turned around to the other side slowly, and noticed another red head that looked identical to the first woman. He carefully crawled out of bed from the foot and quietly headed to the bathroom.
He locked the door, used the toilet, and started up the shower, using the sink for support as he gathered himself. He ruffled his hair some and stepped in the shower, tugging the curtain close. He braced himself on the wall and let the warm water fall on his body, gradually waking him up. He closed his eyes and began relaxing some as last night’s thoughts surfaced to his mind.
He could hear the soft feminine giggles surround him and the faint gentle touches feeling over his body. The traces of his clothing tickled his skin as they were removed and an anticipating tug of his pants awoken his senses. He felt an overwhelming warm wet sensation conquer his lips and lower half, then quickly opened his eyes at the sound of a knock on the bathroom door.
He glanced over in the direction of the door and responded, “Yes?”
“My sister and I have to head back to our hotel room. We’ll leave our number on the nightstand,” one of the women said.
“Okay. Have a safe trip,” he said and stood up straight, beginning to wash himself. He lathered up well enough to rid the scent of alcohol, perfume, and sex.
Once he was done, he dried off and got dressed in a pair of worn out jeans and a band t-shirt. He dried his hair some and headed toward the kitchen for something quick to snack on. He snagged an apple, took a big bite, and noticed a cup of tea on the counter with a note. He walked over, picked it up, and read it. Sorry I couldn’t stay, but I did have fun. I hope you had fun too. I made you some tea with a little honey for your hangover. I’ll be at the shop doing inventory if you need me. Take care~ -Aki
The older man smiled to himself at the kind words and traded the fruit for the tea the other made him. He hoped Aki really enjoyed himself and he made it home safely. He sighed softly, settled at the kitchen table, and sipped his tea.
At the shop, Aki and one of the managers were stocking up the front desk with shirts. The manager went off to clean up some areas that were surpassed during the week while Aki organized his workstation. He checked his supplies and made note of anything he needed to prepare for the next day. He decided to check his mentor’s station and made note of any supplies the other used often.
His head went up at the sound of a bell and was prepared to dismiss the visitor, but simply smiled at the familiar face. He stood up and went over to welcome his boss.
“How are you feeling?” Aki asked, closing up the notepad.
“Pretty good. Thank you for the tea! It definitely hit the spot,” Ka-yu replied, “How about you?”
“I’m alright. I didn’t drink too much last night, so no hangover.”
The older man nodded and perked up, “I bought something.”
“What is it?” Aki tilted his head.
Ka-yu gestured him to follow him outside and led him to the alleyway. He grinned, tugged the sheet off the brand new motorcycle, and said, “Ta-da!”
“Wow~ It’s beautiful,” the young artist responded in awe, circling the vehicle. He admired the structure, shine, and design, touching the surface a little. “You decided to get a replacement,” he said, looking at Ka-yu.
“Yeah. Once you fall off, you have to get back on, right?”
Aki smiled and nodded, glancing over the bike. “I’m glad the accident didn’t change you love for riding.”
“Of course not. Everyone has accidents. You can’t let them hold you back forever,” he said and offered the helmet to the other. “Want to try her out?”
“As long as you’re the one driving,” he answered, “Let me get my stuff and we can head out.”
Ka-yu nodded and waited for the younger man to return. He glanced at his watch and petted the motorcycle. “I’m gonna fix you up real good, baby,” he said, the smiled at the sight of Aki returning. He put Aki’s bag away, handed over the helmet, and hopped on, starting the bike up. Aki joined and wrapped his arms around the other, before driving off.
The younger man tried not to cling to him and attempted to shun any fears he had during the whole ride to the motorcycle shop. He glanced at the scenery occasionally and suddenly felt butterflies occupy his stomach. He closed his eyes, breathing softly, and unconsciously held onto Ka-yu tighter.
The bike slowed down to a stop and the two got off. Ka-yu smiled at Aki as he removed the helmet from his head.
“Nervous?” he asked, putting the helmet aside.
“A-ah...not really,” Aki answered, feeling a little embarrassed. He quietly followed his mentor inside and glanced around the small room as the other discussed upgrades for his new ride. He picked up a pamphlet and flipped through it idly.
“If it isn’t the devil himself~ Matsumoto Kazuyuki!” a voice interrupted.
Ka-yu looked back at where the voice was coming from and half smiled. “Hey…” he responded, trying to remember the person who just entered the shop.
“Don’t remember me?” the man grinned, “It has been a long time.”
Aki looked up from the pamphlet and glanced between the two men curiously.
“It’s your old roomie, Yasu,” he said.
“Oh, hey!” Ka-yu smiled more and gave the other a big hug.
“I thought I’d never see you again since the move. What have you been up to lately? Still doing tattoos?”
“Not much. Had to recover from a little accident, so my memory’s a little fuzzy here and there, but I’m still doing tattoos,” Ka-yu answered, “By the way, this my good friend Aki-chan. He’s been helping out at the shop and my recovery.”
Aki tucked the pamphlet away and bowed politely. “Nice to meet you, Yasu-san,” he said.
“Very polite. Wish I turned out that way,” Yasu chuckled, “So, are you busy tonight? Maybe we can catch up.”
“Sure. There’s a new sushi joint opening up tonight. Perhaps we can meet there,” the older artist suggested.
“Sounds perfect to me. Your friend is welcomed to join us,” he added, glancing at Aki as he played with his lip ring.
“Your vehicle is ready to go,” a mechanic informed, popping his head in.
Yasu thanked the other and said, “I’ll see you later then.”
Ka-yu nodded and waved, then signed the final papers on the counter. He led Aki out and returned to his bike, handing the helmet back over. He tilted his head and asked, “Is something wrong?”
“No, everything’s fine,” Aki answered softly and put the helmet on, before moving back on the motorcycle.
The older man nodded, joined him on the seat, and drove off.
