[The camera turns on as Ryohei's setting it down. He steps out of the frame for a minute and when he comes back he's holding six colored balls, three in either hand. Without any sort of introduction, he starts to juggle them. Since Helena taught him to juggle a week or so ago, he's gotten rather good due to EXTREME PRACTICING ( Read more... )

Not bad, Ryo! How long did it take you to get that good?

About a week! Helena showed me how. She's gonna help me learn to pass them back and forth with her, too!

That's more than just "not bad." It's pretty sweet. Helena must be a hella good teacher. Then again, you're pretty ace with picking things up, so I guess it works both ways.

In Japan, we kinda have two Valentine's days. The one in February is for girls to give things and the one in March is for guys to give things. That one is White Day!

I was just wondering, 'cause I'm going to give you something, but it felt weird to the extreme to do it on Black Day.

Huh. That's... kinda cool, I guess.

You don't have to go getting me nothing, Ryohei. I'm not usually down with those kinds of days anyway. Though now I've got to ask: Black Day? Is that like a day for the people who don't have anyone to give things to?

Yeah, it's nothing romantic. It's just 'cause we're friends! Like, when we give chocolate, there's two kinds: giri-choco and honmei-choco. One's for giving friends and one's for giving people you like romantically.

Nah, Black Day is Valentine's Day. The one in February. I dunno where the names came from, that's just what we call them.

It seems like a nice tradition. I wish I knew you were planning something; I guess I'll just have to get ya something a bit late.

That's a new one. Bet plenty of my single friends would probably call it the same, though.

You don't have to, but you can if you want!

...Oh! Haha, I wouldn't have thought of it that way! That makes sense to the extreme though!

Well, it wouldn't really be fair, accepting a gift when I ain't got nothing to give back in return. At least with Christmas, I had candy canes to hand out, lame as it was.

Eh, that just proves that you don't rely on so-called romance for happiness or anything.

I don't really think about it that way. But I see what you mean!

Haha, that's because boxing is my only true love!
