SNS
Today i had to teach my kids about SNS and the brief history of it.
I remember when twitter just kick started. No one on the campus was really using it and my twitter was used mostly to annoy the roommate 4 feet away.
Honestly speaking, i cant remember when but everyone eventually got their twitter and lets just say some people are really more than eager to get people to follow them.
Tumblr - to me its either people with DSLR taking shots of Starbucks, macaroons, hipsters and Eiffel tower or the fangirl side.
Let's just say i favour the fangirl side a lot. It's really awesome that developers don't plaster advertisements all over Tumblr and made it ugly like what happened to FB and LJ.
With smartphones now, online chats are the bomb. imagine texting anyone anywhere, free of charge - except internet fees of course.
And i seriously gotta say. I looooove the emoticons on Kakao Talk.
I have this friend of mine, a really good one actually, who'd KaTok me throughout the day. Be it 6 in the morning before work or 12 midnight.
I haven't seen her since we graduated but it's amusing how we are in touch everyday.
