Rushing a bit since I still have to play catch up tonight.

Just got back from Infusion Magazine & UGAnime Club meeting. This week is the actual schedule for the rest of the year so of course I have to make a post with my reactions. Because it's fun and all of you get the chance to tell me if you've seen any of these shows before.

Come on in, you know you wanna... )

kaleido star, darker than black, nana, uganime, eden of the east, kuroshitsuji

Man, I have fallen completely out of anime. :| I'll come back eventually, I'm just not happy with the state of it right now. You know I run on a cycle, anyway.

Re: Passive-Aggressive Guy: I can't speak to whether or not he would have yelled at you, but as for thinking about it, I have the same problem sometimes (though it's usually with me thinking about embarrassing shit I've done in the past). I - this is going to sound dumb - tend to picture an actual boot kicking the thought out of my head. I don't know if it'd work for you, but inflicting some sort of violence on the intruding thoughts tends to make them stop for me.

Yeah, I know. Then again, I was expecting either Cori-kun or Femmephantom to come by and let me know if they've heard of any of the new anime.

I dunno, I mean the only time I've been yelled at by a guy was the cowards in the elevator back when I lived on the 3rd floor of Creswell who would yell things just when the doors were closing. Besides, I kind of wanted to explain to the guy that I was in a hurry for a meeting but again, it's not an issue any more. I don't care. I had my time to think about it and that time is up.

Still need to watch Nana.

And we started Eden of the East, but our anime club never finishes a series. Seemed interesting enough, like an anime Bourne. And I never did figure out what noblesse oblige had to do w/ anything.

DTB was good all the way through, I just wished they'd done more with it....which they may have now that they made a sequal series, but I hope they kept many original characters (b/c i'm anal like that)

And no, he probably wouldn't have said anything directly too you. He's probably just pissed b/c, let's face it, school does that to you.

You really should. It's so full of almost soap-opera level drama but it's saved by excellent characters, ridiculously good music, pretty animation, and genuinely good writing. It's a good show to watch when you want to be shocked and yell and sniffle and laugh. You can't watch Nana quietly--it's just not possible.

I heard about the sequel series. Since I haven't finished the first season, I won't peek at the second one just yet. This weekend I plan to get caught up to the episode I saw last night. Missed maybe two or three of them.

Good thing, then, because I crumble under high-pressure confrontation. Maybe he would have been swayed by my Woobie face. xD

lol. Gonna have to see it eventually...and apparently Becca has the live-action movie.

How far along are you? (And do you ship/crackship anything?)

He probably wouldn't have. Even racist southernern men wouldn't do that to you b/c you are female. Sometimes, being a girl is really good.

Don't know anything about the live action movie because I sort of think series that do them are weird. Idk, it might actually be good.

I think I stopped at episode 12. I'm not as behind as I thought I was. Cool. I think I'll watch 12 & 13 this weekend.

Yeah, I do like being a girl. For all the sexist issues, you get yelled at less by strangers.
