It's Over!!!!
That's right... my baby is now an alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro!!
The graduation was this morning, and it was definitely one of the better ones I've been to. The keynot speaker was a professor at the University's Bryan Business School and not ONLY was he short and to the point, he was also humorous and his speech was NOT just the standard, 'I, me, my' (exulting himself and his credentials) but actually was geared toward the graduates and their futures, and was really very enjoyable.
Oh and I FINALLY managed to pull off a surprise gift for her. Usually, she's with me when I buy her gifts, or she tells me what she wants and where to get it. THIS time, however, I ordered her gift (the Verizon Cherry Chocolate phone) on-line, so she had no idea. And since I got the Cherry (red) one, which unbeknownst to me was the color she wanted, I totally ROCKED on this one!!
