So tired... life is catching up to me.

I went to the eye doctor today. (Or I guess it would be "yesterday" since it's past midnight.) I told him about my blackouts and he said that it was probably a sign of low blood pressure, and that I should make sure I get enough potassium and drink enough water. I also need to have my lenses changed on my glasses. That means I'll be without my "eyes" for 24 hours starting tomorrow (er, today?). Let's see how well I manage without them. I'm hoping I won't step on a nail or walk through cat vomit or something.

I have an orthodontist appointment at 7 am. I'm probably going to get yelled at for not wearing my retainer enough. To make matters worse, I'm not sure if I should try to get three hours of sleep or if I should stay awake until the appointment is over. (I don't do well on less than 5 hours of sleep per night.) Which one would make me less exhausted? I don't know at this point.

With the beginning of the semester two weeks away, I've started to get emails from school again. (I've even been dreaming about finding dead roaches in my dorm during move-in. The question is: how many will I find?) I don't want to think about school yet. I worked on school related things for two out of my three months of summer break. ;__; Along with the standard emails about move-in, I'm also getting emails about senior projects and resume workshops since I'm a rising senior. Reminding me that, no, I don't have an idea for a senior project yet. And no, I don't have an internship or job lined up when I graduate. I get so nervous about job interviews and things leading up to job interviews.

On a somewhat brighter note, I just found out that I may be able to attend the Ottawa International Animation Festival! The TA for my hand drawn animation class is taking a small group of kids as part of a school sponsored event. I do have to fill out an application, but I'm crossing my fingers that I'll get chosen since I'm a senior, I know the TA who is organizing the event, and I want to find a job in the animation industry when I graduate.

And one of my favorite plush artists on DA emailed me back about my commission request. I'm hoping this means that I got a slot. Not sure where I'll find the money, but I'll manage somehow. In the worst case scenario, I have a few high-dollar Pokemon TCG cards that I can sell from my personal collection.

And speaking of Pokemon... shipping on my latest Crescent Shop package was $58. FIFTY-EIGHT DOLLARS. Now I remember why I never, ever request EMS shipping for anything except GAs. I'm going to cry when CS starts charging extra service fees for SAL and Airmail.

school, life, money management is hard, pokemon
