In which I make terrible life choices. Also, whales.

My mother and I went to Olive Garden last night. I ordered the cheese raviolli, and some chocolate strata cake for dessert. The raviolli was decent; the cake was delicious. Over the course of the night I ate 3/4 of the cake. That was a full 2/4 more than I was supposed to eat. Aside from the fact that it put me way over my calorie limit for the day, I didn't think it would have any negative consequences.

Oh how wrong I was.

I felt awful all night, to the point where I couldn't sleep at all because my stomach was pulsing with pain. I still feel pretty bad. Granted, it's not the worst pain I've ever felt, but it's probably the most frustrating because it keeps coming back. Is this what a stomach ache feels like? Is this why parents say "don't eat that or you'll spoil your dinner"? I always thought that was just a phrase, a scare tactic to make kids eat their veggies instead of eating junk food for dinner. Are you telling me that something as delicious as cake can actually cause you physical pain if you eat too much of it? CLEARLY, I HAVE BEEN DECEIVED. THE WORLD IS A CRUEL, CRUEL PLACE.

In case you couldn't tell, I've never had a stomach ache before. I've had my fair share of other digestive problems, but never a legitimate stomach ache.

Think happy thoughts, happy thoughts... Oh, I splurged on a thing at Barnes & Noble:

Whale salt and pepper shakers, because everything is better as whales.

By the way, I will not be sending out Christmas cards this year. Just thought I should mention it. No need to send anything my way since I can't return the favor. (I always feel guilty receiving cards when I'm not sending them out myself.)

whales!, idiot alert, complaining, why am i awake?, pointless post, cry more, how old am i again?, sick, i'm a moron
