Now I remember why I hate April and May. One minute the weather is fine. Five minutes later the windows are shaking from constant thunder. Ten minutes after that, the tornado sirens are going off and I'm freaking out because I have no idea where the flashlight or portable radio are. As we say in Oklahoma, "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes. It will change."
Anyway, these severe thunderstorms have completely ruined my productivity for the day. First I got booted off my computer due to the thunderstorms... which is VERY BAD because all the things I need to do involve some type of computer program. Then I spent the rest of the afternoon and a bit of the evening keeping an eye on the weather channel, just to make sure that none of the multiple storms heading towards my area decided to spawn tornadoes. I'm used to camping near the TV during tornado season, but that doesn't mean I enjoy it. Aside from being incredibly dull, it's also kind of nerve-wracking.
It's like... Oh no, the circulation is headed towards your house! Wait, never mind, the storm has turned north. Oops, no it hasn't, now it's turned south again and the weather man says that everyone in town should get in their tornado shelters. Never mind, you don't have to get in your tornado shelter because the sky looks fairly bright, not that nasty dark green tornado color. Well, maybe you do need to seek shelter, because the sirens are going off anyway! Wouldn't you like to know where the tornado is? Well, too bad, because the radio has so much static that you can't understand a single word. HAPPY TORNADO SEASON! 8D
Fun times, I tell you. More storms (mostly rain/lightning/hail, probably no tornadoes) are heading my way as I'm typing this, and apparently tomorrow is going to be worse in terms of tornado chances. Man, I hate tornado season.
To make this post less boring,
here is an awesome Pokemon thing I found on Tumblr, about Black 2/White 2. It made my day!
