Does anyone on my f-list still play Dream World?
I started playing a week or two ago and everything was (mostly) working. When I logged in today, weird things happened. I was wondering if anyone on my f-list has encountered this problem.
When I log into Dream World, I get the message that tells who visited my house/watered my berries (from January 13), and then this pops up:
I believe it says something like "a Pokemon is not sleeping", but why is it in Japanese? I tucked in a Charmander with a Japanese name yesterday (or was it a few days ago?) but surely that wouldn't cause the game to think I lived in Japan... right? Or did pokemon.com forget to translate the error messages? Ngl, that would be an amusing oversight.
When I double-check my account, it does accurately list the Pokemon that's tucked in.
but no matter how many times I re-enter Dream World, I get the same Japanese error message.
I cannot visit my dream friends without an active Pokemon. Strangely, I can still go across the dream bridge and explore the different areas. However, when I try to play a game, my active Pokemon is always a Bulbasaur:
I like Bulbasaur as much as the next person, but I did not tuck in a Bulbasaur today. This is happening for my Black AND my White versions, despite the fact that I don't even have a Bulbasaur on Black. (I did tuck a Bulbasaur this past week on my White version.)
I am hoping that this error will resolve itself tomorrow, but if it doesn't, I have no idea what to do.
It's really frustrating. I finally get dream world to work, and manage to get a few friends and start planting the berries I need to delete EVs, and then BAM! errors everywhere. If I didn't know better, I'd say that the pokemon.com employees are trolling me.
Apologies for this post. I know that most of you either don't know what I'm talking about or don't care, but I wasn't sure where else to ask. Google searching has pulled up nothing.
On an LJ-related note, every time I try to post a comment or even view comments, I get the message "Anonymous comments are disabled in this journal".
Edit: And just to prove that everything I touch breaks, the world decided that my $150 headphones, which were my birthday present to myself a few years ago, needed to have the cord get ruined. Wonderful. I just hope that I can find somewhere to fix them that doesn't charge me an arm and a leg.
