To anyone who saw it, I apologize for the emo post. I've been feeling really depressed during the day, possibly due to lack of human contact? It usually gets better around 2 or 3 am which makes even less sense.
I saw Deathly Hallows part 2 tonight with my mom. Mom has a snake phobia. Coming out of the theater, all I could say was "well, I warned you..."
It was good. Needed more Snape though. :(
Oh Snape, I will miss your sexy voice.
My mother also seemed to enjoy the movie, though she was kind of confused by the end. On the way out she asked me "Is Harry really Snape's son?" (I had to stop myself from laughing at her. In her defense, she hasn't read the books. You know that the director did something wrong if people come out of it asking questions like that.) I love Snape and all, but he would be the worst. father. EVER.
Three random thoughts and then I will be on my way:
1. Uh, wasn't Draco supposed to enter the Room of Requirement with Crabbe and Goyle?
2. THAT was 19 years later?! Hire some better makeup artists! (Or, you know, cast different actors for the adult versions.)
3. When Harry said he was prepared to die, I was probably the only one in the theater thinking "yes, please do". lol Can you tell I don't like Harry? I had the same reaction in the books too.
Now I'm in a Harry Potter mood. Show me your Harry Potter gifs/macros! I kind of want fic recs too, but since I'm mostly interested in crack pairings and "what if" scenarios, good luck finding those...
As a side note, I also finished A Dance with Dragons tonight, but I am too enraged to make a proper post about it right now. If I tried, it would probably involve a lot of keyboard smashing and repeated "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!"s.
