This is what I found when I checked my inbox:
Um... yes, I think I was aware of that. Thank you, LJ.
I went through old boxes of Beanie Babies today to decide which ones to sell. I've found 4 or 5 that are worthwhile to list individually, and about 200 that I plan to sell as a group since they don't sell for anything by themselves. While I was looking up prices on ebay, I noticed that sellers list every little thing that's wrong with the plush. For example, if there's a loose string, or if the tag has a tiny bit of white on the edge, or if there is still a price sticker on the back of the tag. One seller even described the plush as "museum condition". (What kind of museum would have Beanie Babies in it?!) It's ridiculous.
Let it be known that I will never complain about Pokemon collectors again. Beanie Baby collectors are crazy.
On that note, if anyone is looking for a specific Beanie, let me know. I'll be selling off somewhere around 500 of them from the late '90s. Most of them would be 50 cents each + shipping. I really, really don't want to list these on ebay if I can help it. I'll probably get negged for not noticing some tiny flaw.
