"My lucky pen!" Tracy exclaimed. "I've been looking all over for this!"

Back from A-kon a day early. It's a long story, but everything fell apart at the same time, and we ended up leaving mid-day on Saturday. The convention itself was fun, though not as fun as I'd hoped thanks to all my plans failing. I'll post cosplay photos later.

Oh, and I got locked in a stairwell at my hotel. I panicked. Or, in other words, when banging on the door didn't work, I called my mother. "Help me! I'm stuck in a stairwell on the 10th floor of my hotel. Could you call the front desk?" I say I'm an adult, yet I still turn to my parents whenever I get into a situation that I don't know how to get out of. I'm such a hypocrite.

I cleaned out the kitchen cabinet today and found some old Pokemon fanfic from 6th-7th grade. It's less horrible than I feared, but still pretty bad. I'm half tempted to create a new fanfiction.net account and post it, just to see what kind of reviews I get. The subject of this post is from that fanfic, if you're curious. Unfortunately, the grammar and plot are not quite horrible enough to be more than mildly entertaining.

I also found some Pokemon fanart from the same time period, including something that looks like a cross between a Charizard and a Lapras, a Suicune with sparkles to rival Edward Cullen's, and a Girafarig that's barfing up part of a rainbow. Currently debating whether to post them for the lulz.
