Oh my gosh, I totally gave blood today~! :D
Yay~!
I'd tried twice before (as it seems Trinity's always putting on blood drives), but both times my iron levels were way too low. However, since then I've been eating at this vegetarian place in Mabee (our dining hall), and that's seemed to help quite a bit~! Vegetable protein rocks my socks, folks. Seriously. Try a Boca Burger. They're fucking delicious. I don't care who you are--it doesn't have to taste like real meat to be sumptuous.

Yah, so anyways, I was a real wuss during the whole procedure. I just don't do well with that sort of thing. I get anxious, nervous, and really giggly (a nervous kind of laughter). And well, the idea of one of my veins being skewered by a bigass needle so that my life force can be drained out just doesn't do it for me. Face it, people--the idea of that's just not kosher. Because I wasn't doing so well this lady kept talking to me and telling me not to "close my eyes." XD;; She really did her best to distract me because *it fucking hurt.* XD;; Ah, well. Everyone was so nice. (So you can guess how I felt when I burst into tears when they pulled the needle out...=laaammmeeee=)
All in all--a good experience. Afterwards I promptly ambled back to Austin and David's room and passed out. Ah....sweet, sweet sleep. Mmmmm... I <3 you.
Welp, that's about all I have to report.
