Once again, Feb 14 and I am lonely, what is a boy to do. I guess I need to pop in a "video" and get in on what I am missing, lol. I hate this damn holiday.
Good grades are rolling my way. So, I was bombarded by tests for the past 2 weeks, hint the late journal entry. I think I faired well considering I had a test last Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and worked all last weekend. I know this what you have been waiting for so here they are, my grades:
Fitness and Wellness-A
Microbiology lab- B
Nursing Communication--B
Microbiology lecture--B
Nursing Science Domain--B
Not bad, eh?
So I am really starting to like EKU a lot now. The teachers are more willing to talk to you instead if acting like you are a nuisance and a waste of their time. EKU is not so research oriented so that is why I like it. I don't care for my Nursing Communication professor, but I like the rest of them. My Nursing Comm teacher is a complete dipshit. You think that if you taught a communications course, you would be able to talk. She is one of those people that when she talks it sounds as if she is going to cry. Well, the couple of friends I have met in that class sit together and just make fun of her. I know it is a mean thing to do, but she is freaking annoying.
There is a girl that is in all of my classes that drives a 2004 Jetta. She appeared about my age and said she commutes from Lex too. My thought was, we need to become good friends and commute and when I say commute, I mean I drive your car on the days I am supposed to drive. Turns out this girl is 25 and married, not that I wanted her to be single, I just want some friends around my age. But she is funny. Hopefully we can get a carpool going.
Friday night was semi-formal. Jessica and I went as a cute couple, more Jessica than me. I was extremely drunk throughtout the night. When we finally got back to the faculty lot, we apparently didn't have a ride so Jessica flagged down this random car with 3 guys in it and asked for a ride. The guys were nice but still not the safest thing to do at 1:30am. So the guys were nice and dropped us off on University where we met Christine. Christine's friend, Bret, said that he would give us a ride back home. When we were getting in the car, I noticed he had a half empty pint of Early Times in his hand. Yea, you geussed it, hew was legally drunk. I really appreciated the ride and he is a nice guy, I was just scared to death that I was going to jail if we got pulled over. But all in all, our bad choices got us home.
Saturday, I went home to take my car to the shop and switch out cars with my dad. I love to drive the 4-Runner but I have already put $42 worth of gas in it in the past 2 days. It sucks it up. My car needs to be fixed quick.
Hope this fills everyone in. Have a good Valentine's Day, those of you lucky bastards with significant others>
