so happy birthday to Sakamoto Masayuki of V6. Leader turned 38 last July 24.
It's awkward having to call a lot of them "Leader". Ohno's Leader, too. And Joushima-leader. LOL.
lol. so this is an RL post. yaddayaddayadda.
i just cut my nails. which can only mean-- DELAYING TACTICS. i'm still not hyped up to study for my seminar topic, and the deadline for the draft is on tuesday. not to mention i have two exams early this week, and i haven't as much as highlighted my handouts. the fandom will so be the death of me. i'm LSS-ing on western songs, i.e. Untouched (the veronicas), Come Clean (hilary duff wtf) and jenenenenenenenen-- LOVE STORY by taylor swift (wtfwtfwtfwtfwtf so annoying that this is stuck in my head gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah).
well, Itoshi no Playgirl is stuck as well, along with Gee (SNSD f***) and Sorry Sorry (gahd SuJu is invading my mind SO BAD. gahhhh what to do YABAI YABAI YABAI). My country is not one for airing Korean/Taiwanese/Japanese/other Asian group music/PVs/MVs in our airwaves/TV screens, but it has been disturbing me how WonderGirls/2ne1 have managed to sneak in our music channels. The WonderGirls and SuperJunior are also doing splendid jobs in infiltrating our airwaves; you can imagine my annoyance when I heard the english version of "Nobody" being played in a public transportation vehicle. As much as I love Jpop/some Tpop artists (not that I've ever heard any JE group's song on the radio or seen their PVs, but Fahrenheit/S.H.E (Taiwan) have made their debut on our music channels, i think), I don't want to be hearing them on every corner of the streets. Listening to Kinki Kids on my iTunes at home or silently smiling to Kanjani Eight on my iPod is enough, thankyouverymuch. In a country where Mexicanovelas have higher ratings that local soap operas and Asianovelas get squealed over by teenage girls who don't know the slightest information on the origins of HYD, it's actually kind of not nice to see that local artists are not being appreciated enough in favor of white-skinned computer-generated girls dancing in multicolored minishorts. But hey, whatever. I'm still not into rip-off rap groups who talk about sex and boys choosing other boys over girls because they claim girls to be overrated and such. I actually hate what modern Western music's done to my country. They all suck.
I entered the JE fandom because of the boys.
I think I stayed because of their personalities. One third would be for the music, I think.
