Appreciation for another of my favourite authors...
As many of you know, I've never been good putting my appreciation into words - preferring instead to make a graphic for the author, based on their characters or novels/stories.
Well, one of my favourite authors is a chap called Stephen Leather. Again, I had trouble showing appreciation in words. I tried to write a review on Amazon but I wasn't much cop lol.
So a little while ago I asked him for permission to make some graphics based on his novels, I didn't want to use ideas or images and then be done for copyright lol!! Luckily he said it was fine and I should go ahead.
So here's a couple of things I've done. Experimental things mostly, I hope to make some more shortly.
This one is based on the novel Nightfall.
And this one is Soft Target (obviously lol).
I have a few more ideas to go, and there's gonna be a few text based ones also.
Now, I've sent these to Mr Leather, and he seems to like them so far. I've no idea if he ever intends to do anything with the images, and I'm not too bothered either way, I just hope he doesn't think I'm a nutter!! :D
