Life update
I'm on vacation right now. I've never taken a break like this from work before and it feels a little surreal. My friend Olly is visiting from London, so I've been showing him around California.
I'm finishing my admission essay for law school. Hopefully, by this time next year, I'll be going to school in the UK.
I'm waiting for the results from my CT scan. Not knowing what the hell is going on has been rough at times, but I don't like to stress about the unknown.
The main reason that dealing with the uncertainty of my health has been a lot easier is because I've had an amazing boyfriend for almost three months. He's been stuck in Missouri dealing with familial drama for most of that time, but he's amazing whether he's in California or across the country. I've been consistently sleep-deprived during his time there because I can only talk to him at night, but it's more than worth it. He's buying a plane ticket and should be moving in with me next week. I can't remember a time when I was happier. I'm head-over-heels in love and it feels wonderful.
