3 weeks ago my hands started to hurt a LOT from typing.... like, way more than they should. 3 acupuncture appointments later, they are doing a lot better ( I could barely type for 2 weeks), but still not 100% yet. I am trying to make sure I am not overdueing anything so that the problem doesn't get any worse and so that progress is not thrown back. So what's happened in 3 weeks? Well, let's see... The suction mount for my GPS kept falling off my windshield, so I bought a new one and since I had an amazon.com gift certificate (getting an amazon.com credit card was such a good idea (ie, rewards)), I decided to get a few books as well. What I bought, is as follows:
- 9/11 Synthetic Terror: Made In USA, by Webster G. Tarpley
Great Book! I've researched this subject for years, sifted through litterally hundreds (600+) of different sources, have viewed probably over half a dozen documentaries on the subject, and this is by far the shining jewel amongst all of them to date! This is a must read!)
- Debunking 9/11 Debunking, by David Ray Griffin
This book sifts through the lies and disinformation of Popular Mechanic's "debunking 9/11 conspiracy theories" attempt (as a side note, it's important to mention that Popular Mechanics is owned by Hearst Publishing, which is the king of yellow journalism. Look up yellow journalism and you will see Hearst Publishing!) and slams down their poor attempts very thoroughly
- Field Guide to Herbs & Spices, by Aliza Green
Nice small book on herbs and spices; has lots of info and even seasonal information!
As I stated, I've been reading book #1 and it's fantastic! I've been trying to combat my ADD lately and read more... which is tough because of my ADD :P. Jenna graduated a few weeks ago from Temple University and now she's looking for a local law school to go to because she decided that Temple is way too negligent and she doesn't want to go back there for law school. Jon introduced me to this service called cash duck where you get payed to do surveys and stuff. I'll talk more about that another day, after I make more money.
Monday I ran a diagnostic program and really gave my computer the works and afterwards it wouldn't boot into windows because a critical system file was damaged....... grrrrrrr! This is the second time a diagnostic program has screwed me in the ass (the first time it was with Adri's computer), and I am starting to wonder if they are worth it. I went out and bought a new HD (500GB, giving me a total of 900GB on my system! although ideally, I'd like about 1.25TB of space (get rid of the old backup drive and get a new one at 500GB), installed it - which was interesting since I've never installed a SATA drive before, but I like it better than the old IDE - and thankfully windows loaded (although peculiarly, Linux still refuses to instal. ARGH!!!!) and I was able to save all my data. Now I just gotta finish transfering data and everything should be good...... I hope.
I am in the process of looking at some new anime (Claymore, Ghost Hunt, and Fate/stay night). Instead of downloading the entire series, I'm just downloading the first 4 videos of the series and will just purchase them all later if I like them. I saw the first episode of Claymore, and I really loved it. Whenever I download a series, I rarely buy it and I'd like to buy it cause I'm wierd like that :P. Dan was over the other day for class and he's doing well; I'm glad that he keeps practicing at home. I'm getting into the habit now of practicing my forms every morning; this will keep me from getting rusty and also gives me a nice cardio workout as well (and the morning is the best time to work out).
Not much else to say. Next weekend I'll be in NYC for school and then on that saturday I'll be with my fellow activists at Union Square Park and plan on doing more talking this time.
