I just got done listening to a meditative audio on my ipod. It was amazing. I do believe I will have to download some more and make it a regular thing. If I'm to lazy to relax with yoga I can do that. Although yoga is meditative physically as well as emotionally, so i still have good intentions to do it more often as well. We shall see. I tried a new one kyle got me for xmas earlier in the week, and it was very slow and focused on breathing and long poses and had a meditative part at the end and it felt wonderful. anyway. i digress.
Last night rocked. Because myspace is what it is, i saw that PBM was playing in clarkston this weekend (which isn't too far away) so me and dave went there last night to see the band, it being my second time and his first. And since it was at a bar/resturant not a venue we sat down with the band members and talked with them before they preformed, and during their breaks. They're a bunch of high energy great guys. I got a shirt and a "special edition fucked up version" CD (it has some track mistakes and a bonus song that the store version wont have) and got all their autographs. I had a few drinks as well so i was definetly enjoying myself. There was this old guy who was breakin a sweat dancin on the dance floor too, he outdanced everyone it was hilarious. he earned a free CD. The guys were sweet enough to dedicate "I'm just a girl" to me too. tee hee. It was good times indeed.
It made up for not having a day off in three weeks straight. And i scheduled myself that way so i could close w/ darcy tonight cuz i havent worked w/ her in months - and i'm opening tomorrow as well, which doing a close/open on a saturday/sunday is the worst combination ever. But there was a emergency at Troy so I will be closing their store for them instead. Although I asked to start a few hours later to study more for my test monday. boo for tests.
Julie was right....someone in the complex plays their music really fucking loud. Oh well. I will be moving out shortly. I'm getting excited! I have yet to start packing though. I don't know where to start. Oh well. I need boxes first anyway.
I bought more cross stich stuff today. i'm lame i know. the one i'm working on now is for my mom. and i bought a angel w/ beading for my future bathroom. and I got my first big project (which was expensive, 20 bucks) for my dad - it's a golden, a chocolate, and a black lab design. He'll love it. assuming i finish it w/o fucking it up.
Ah well. I'm gonna eat some pops (formerly known as corn pops, but i think they changed it to just "pops". check it out next time your shopping).
