Summary: Set in the morning of ‘Resolved’ and when I hear this song (ABBA S.O.S) I think of Scotty so...I still have issues with the SL so trying to get my head around the cheating still.
Scotty wakes up in bed and looks to Kevin’ side of the bed.
He signs in disappointment; another night where Kevin has left him by himself.
The radio switches itself on; in acknowledgment of the morning and the day ahead of him.
And just to make sure he knows that Kevin has left him a song comes on to remind him.
Where are those happy days, they seem so hard to find
I tried to reach for you, but you have closed your mind

It used to be so nice, it used to be so good
Scotty looks at the radio and stays on the bed and thinks about what had happen to their love. He knows it hadn't always been good; particular at the beginning, with the breaking up and arguments but once they were married they were different.
They were so in love it and had everything it front; then the accident happened and everything seemed to come crashing down on them.
They had been so good together and then their connection cracked but it didn’t break until the miscarriages; they were broken and he just couldn't seem to get through to Kevin anymore.

He got angry; when he heard the chorus. Why couldn't Kevin see that he needed him?
All he needed was Kevin to be there; to love him.
Scotty remembers the night of the cheating; all he wanted was Kevin and he pleaded for him to be there. He even said that he wanted him there; that he needed to be there for them. He didn’t think their marriage would survive if Kevin didn’t show up.
He guesses he was right; at least in one way.

What happened to our love, it used to be so good
He remembers after the cheating occurred; he pulled away from Kevin as well. He didn’t think he deserved to be near Kevin let alone ask for his love.
Kevin (and to a less extent his family) had always been there for him; Kevin was the one that made him want to do something with his live in the first place.
He told him to reach for the stars and open a restaurant. Though it was something that Scotty had always wanted to do, he never had the courage and then Kevin gave him it.
And the ONE time that Kevin needed him and he just couldn’t understand why Kevin kept pulling away from him. He kept on pulling away, if he is honest, until Justin came back.
Scotty smiled thinking that Justin reaction was not exactly what he expected but more about the fact that it was Justin that came home after a year and somehow brought them all back together.
If only they could fix this.

Every time Kevin left; it fractured him and that was the problem. He couldn’t live without Kevin. He doesn’t know how to even try to go on or carry on; he needed Kevin.
He needed Kevin more than life itself.

He got up from the bed and stood up straight; he knew Paige was coming over soon and that meant Kevin would be here soon as well.
He wasn’t going to sleep in this bed without Kevin anymore.
And with his mind resolved he looked forward to the day.
