Summary: Set after the marriage proposal.

The morning after the proposal Kevin awakes and remembers the night before; did he really ask Scotty to marry him and had Scotty actually said yes.
He looks at Scotty; the sun is just creeping in between the curtains and it’s the most perfect picture he was ever seen. He can tell that Scotty is coming around from sleep; he is slowly coming to terms that he is awake.
He awaked to Kevin staring at him; good he is beautiful, is the first thing that Scotty thinks before he remembers their celebrating of their engagement. Had he really proposed because otherwise that was a wonderful, and vivid, dream that he had last night.
“So you do, do you” Kevin said smiling brighter than he ever had before.
“I do” Scotty said equalling Kevin’ smile.
“Really?” Kevin asked with a crocked smile.
“Well you could ask again but I think twice is enough and that proposal was perfect” Scotty answered truthfully.
“Might have been better if I had planned it” Kevin said thinking that there was more romantic ways to ask someone to marry him. Then again before Scotty he doubt there was anyone that he would have wanted to ask.
“No regrets?” Scotty asks, he is worried that because it was spontaneous that maybe Kevin regretted it.
Kevin breaks out his day dream and looks down at Scotty’s face, he heard the concern in Scotty’s voice.
“No” Kevin said fast then continued slowly “No, none at all” Scotty smiled “you?” Kevin asked showing his insecurities.
“None” Scotty said smiling, he tried grabbing Kevin to prove him but Kevin stopped him.
“But I could have done it better” Kevin said worried yet again that he had done the right thing but the wrong way.
“It was perfect, it was romantic and it was wanted” Scotty said pulling Kevin towards him to prove it to him when Kevin’s phone went off.
Kevin sighed annoyed at the interruption; he looked down at the message and sigh even more.
“What is it?” Scotty said annoyed that sex definitely was not going to happen now.
“I have been called” Kevin said getting up “family meeting” he said looking around for some clothes to put on “do you want to come?” he asked “we can tell the family about the ceremony” he said remembering their plans that they had decided on last night.
“Got work to do” Scotty said “you can tell me about it later” Scotty knew that the news would get to him one way or another “anyway if I wanted to tell your family I could just text them”
Kevin turned around in absolute horror “You wouldn’t?” Kevin demanded.
“Wouldn’t I?” Scotty countered, smiling evilly.
Kevin look at Scotty, trying to determine whether Scotty would or wouldn’t.
“No” Kevin said sure that his decision was right.
Scotty started to look around for his phone and picked it up “N...N...Nora” Scotty said scrolling down the list of contacts he had and pretended to press the button. Which was exactly the moment the Kevin jumped him and grabbed the phone and threw it on the nightstand and Scotty on to the bed with himself over the top him.
Scotty looked up at Kevin smiling; he managed to get Kevin back on track; sex was definitely going to happen now. Kevin looked down at Scotty and knew that Scotty had planned this but didn’t care; oh, hell, I’ll be late, he thought to himself.
