Summary: Two men fall in love on a boat in 1912.
A/N - Finally finished; I know this has been a long time coming; so thanks for sticking with it.

“Oh, Robert” Kitty’s voice joined “you should not have admitted that”
“It was obvious that you’re Father wasn’t going to move from this spot until he got the truth; so there was the truth” Robert said.
“But it wasn’t for you, was it?” William asked; he already knew the answer.
“No, it was for Kitty” Robert said and watched as his wife’s watch looked down but not in embarrassment but with fear and something he couldn’t quite detect.
“Well” William said sounding smug “you will not be getting a seat on our lifeboat then” he had actually reserved a lifeboat for his.
Robert suddenly understood his situation; he had expected a place on a lifeboat from William Walker.
“I can get one for myself” Robert said calmly but inside screaming at William; he walked away. Kitty ran after her husband shouting “that ring should have been mine”.
“Luc you might as well leave as well” William said clearly.
“What, what did I do” Luc said but he didn’t need an answer; William had never thought he was good enough for him.
“But you can’t father” Sarah whined.
“I can and will” William said.
Luc didn’t even bother to argue with him; he turned to his kids and gave them a hug; he knew that without William’s help he would be suck on the ship. This was the last time he would see his kids.
Sarah also lent down and kissed her kids goodbye; she wasn’t going to leave her husband. As long as her children were safe she knew everything was okay.
She took Luc’s had and then pulled him away.
“Sarah” everyone shouted “Sarah, where are you going” William continued to shout for his daughter until they were out of sight.

Scotty tighten his arms around himself; trying to get warm though he doubted it was from the weather anymore but the atmosphere.
He put his hands in his pocket and pulled out a note that hadn’t been there earlier.
“Kevin...” Scotty said handing the note to Kevin and with a quick look Kevin knew that Scotty would be safe. Now, he had to get Justin and Emily to safety.
It was easier than they thought; William had been looking for them too. They quickly caught up with the situation. It turns out that a disaster could really tear up a family; in particularly their family.
Justin and Emily were immediately offered places but Kevin and Scotty weren’t; it was clear to Kevin that they were going to have their own test.
“Kevin...” William stated and looked at Scotty “why do you insist on disgracing this family with this behaviour” he said pointing towards Scotty. He knew that they had been together.
“What behaviour” Kevin said trying to deny it.
“Don’t lie to me” William said angrily and confidently.
“The ship is sinking father” Kevin said sharply “and all you are doing is testing us; we don’t have time for this”.
“We are going to have less time if you don’t answer me” William said knowing that any minute he would get the truth; the fear of death makes people do anything.
“Kevin” Scotty said touching him gently on the arm “we should leave” Kevin looked at him like he was crazy; this was his only chance of leaving this ship “trust me” Scotty asked and Kevin had no choice but to leave his family. A little figure followed them closely behind.

At 2:20 am on 15th April the Titanic sunk.

“Nan, don’t stop there” the girl cried out.
“Just going to get the clippings from the newspaper and the note” the Nan said, she was back soon with frames in her hand.
The first one was the note from Scotty’s jacket.
Scotty,
Lifeboat is being prepared for workers at the rear end of the ship; go there - it is for workers and their family only - safe both of you.

“This is the note that saved them, isn’t it” the girl asked.
“Yes it is” the Nan said smiling.

They approached the lifeboat and Scotty reported who he was and his name was checked on the list; it was obviously cleared and then crossed out.
“Family member’s only” the service man said looking at Kevin.
“My brother and his daughter” Scotty said; the man nodded at the two and let all three of them onto the lifeboat “name’s Kevin Wandell and Paige Wandell” Kevin said as he passed suddenly understanding Scotty’s plan.
It was then that they started to talk “Paige, what were you thinking, you should have stayed with the family” Kevin sound very quietly so the rest of the passengers on the lifeboat wouldn’t hear.
“Didn’t want to stay with them; can I stay with you instead” Paige said looking around at both Kevin and Scotty.
“Of course honey” Kevin said and held her tightly as the lifeboat was lowered into the sea.

The girl smiled at the next clipping; it was her favourite revenge story.
William Walker Goes Bankrupt
William Walker has reported as going bankrupt as a result of bad business and high living standards. As reported last year William Walker had bribed a crew member of the Titanic for safe passage from the ship for himself and his family. Not so uncommon from some members of the 1st Class on the Titanic. He claimed that he could only safe himself, his wife and two of his sons Thomas Walker and Justin Walker and their partners Julia Walker and Emily Walker (formerly Dickinson).
It was later revealed that he had judge who was worth saving; this was told by Kitty Macalister and Sarah Laurent who managed to secure separate places on lifeboats. Both of which lost their husbands on the ships. The fact that William Walker was not only willing to scarifies his son-in-laws but also his daughters caused serious damage to his reputation. It also cause a break down in his family with his wife divorcing his last year and taking half his money.
His middle son Kevin Walker was also one of the victims of the Titanic; a promising lawyer who was well represented within the legal system.
“Did they ever find out” the girl asked “that he was alive?”
“You’ve never asked me that before” the Nan answered; the girl kept quiet waiting for an answer “only Justin; Kevin wrote to him, just once saying he was safe and happy and not to look for him. Though I guess there is a chance that everyone could have found out but he trusted Justin”.
She watched as the little girl yawned in her bed.
“Now, it is time for sleep” her Nan said tucking her in tightly.
“Can you read again soon”.
“Until next time” she said as she switched off the little and closed the door behind her.
