i'm on my own path. one cannot truly understand the complexities of another's life or mind without going down the same path as they (which is impossible). so please, never say "i understand." if it has happened to you as well, it still isn't the same or even in the realm of equal.
so please, when i let you privy to my most personal thoughts or actions, i request no unsolicited advice, rude comments, or prying questions. i do so love my friends, but sometimes enough is enough. if i don't offer any more information, chances are, you won't get any.
especially, if i post something that is hard for me to tell people, yet i would like for you to know- no rude comments.
the moral of this story is- think before you post. words do hurt, but mostly between friends.
