Early morning
Ahhh gotta love the fact that we are getting more daylight each day - sucks when it wakes me up at 6:15 though. I don't notice so much during the week because I am up for work early, but waking up early on the weekend isn't so much fun.
So, here I set giving an update. I am sure a lot has happened since I last updated -- David had his briefing for the move, we found out all the juicy info related to the PCS. Tomorrow we have our housing pre-inspection - what should one expect at such an inspection -- I have no clue but I will be there to take notes :-).
We have been going through the house accumulating garage sale items and cleaning out "junk" we don't want/need to move with us. We even got a blacklight from a friend (they never turned it in to Self Help) so we are going to check out the carpet today. I turned it on yesterday and didn't see any noticeable stains in the area I was looking just little flecks that appeared (?) to be lint - kinda like when you wear a dark shirt into Laser Tag and look down and thing WTH is on my shirt! So I guess when we look a little more today we will see what the damage looks like. I just hope that if there is something there we can get rid of it! We have been here 6 years so I am SURE there is something on the carpets ;-).
The kids are getting geared up for the move. They are ready to go but reallly don't want to leave their friends. Braden's "best" friend has realized he is moving and wants to have every weekend planned with him. They are also nervous to start out at a new school, I am nervous about them starting a new one too. I feel like the kids are REALLY sheltered up, probably not so much at the next place. I am sure they will do fine, they make friends super easy so that helps.
Well - the coffee maker just beeped so I am gonna get a cup so I can get to cleaning/decluttering AGAIN...
