I know that I haven't been good about updating. Sorry about that. I've been seeing a lot of Scott--still at work of course--but we're no longer just coworkers. We've gotten to the point of friends--at least as far as I'm concerned. I can tell him anything--and he probably won't respond to my e-mails but he reads them and talks about them later. It must be a weird boy thing I dunno. Saturday he was supersupportive about my problems at work and he managed to calm me down A LOT. Before I got so angry though--I had the best time ever.
Scott, Daniel, and I were talking. Daniel and Scott were messing around with ping pong balls. Scott through one at me with the intention that I'd catch it. Well I couldn't differentiate it from the white of the cieling and the white of the floor--so trying to catch it was difficult. And then the game evolved--Daniel, Scott, and I, threw the balls at each other but we were supposed to catch them--but we were throwing about three each. At some point we just started beaming them at each other. We were all running around and ducking for cover and grabbing the balls and throwing them at each other. Mostly missing. When I hit Scott he made eye contact and it was amazing. I dunno. I've never played before with another adult. Not like--for real fun. I play games w/ kids and adults. But this was teasing and playing and I dunno. It was FUN. I'm not sure I've laughed that much in forever. And I got exercise. Daniel had a blast--but I'm not sure who had more fun of all of us. I'm thinking maybe me. It did end with Daniel and I ganging up on Scott and throwing the ping pong balls and him batting them away. I told him that I had a dream where he was Luke Skywalker and this was pretty much playing true to the dream. He laughed and asured as he hit another ball away, that if he had a lightsaber he would not be hitting the balls with it.
But it was fun. I can't emphasize that enough. Profoundly fun. I had no idea about what I was missing.
