Ok SOOOO Scott. Saturday he was not a kicked puppy. He didn't like that I called him a kicked puppy either. He walked in the center as I was explaining what time Scott usually comes in to Annie. I was telling her usualy 6:15- 6:20 pm. If it's 6:40 he's had an accident. And she said don't say that. He walked in as were still talking about him at 6:18pm. And he entered and TALKED TO ME RIGHT AWAY. He greeted me in fact. My first response was--well someone got laid! But I mean really. He joked with me... amazing.
Then later on Daniel (kid) ran to go see him. I heard them a little bit--then Scott came and got me. Apparently the internet was down. And I could do absolutely nothing. So Scott was angry--understandably and justifiably so because the game he was trying this week needed the internet to run--so he had to shift gears and get other stuff loaded.
In the meantime--he was talking to Daniel and I. He and Daniel started playing pool on this little--kiddie pool table. TOO FUNNY. Daniel tried to do tricks with the stick and I told him that he needed to learn how to twirl it--and then of course Scott started doing it... I turned to him and told him that I still couldn't twilr a sword like that because the balance was always off. And then he demonstrated how I should do it and gave me a website where to learn. And I was like--damn boy.
This sort of play happens often. Last Saturday I asked Daniel all sort of questions and Scott answered them. Very weird.
My dinner then arived so I sat on the floor and ate my salad. Scott eventaully came out of the computer lab and just stared at me. I stared back and he called me a hobo! He said--"Look it's Kim the hobo." I told him I should be really insulted. And he said "What are you?" And I looked away and said not insulted.
I went into the computer lab later on and we were abandoned shortly. Scott picked up his book and I complained that he was going to make me actually do hw. I got up and got my book and pencil and then I sat with him studying. He didn't turn on the light so we had to share the light that was coming in through the door. We'd interupt every so often... The teens came back in. I was kicked out of my chair--and had to go sit in the next one. I began reading again--and I felt Scott hovering over me. He leaned over and started clicking the mouse and typing. He set up the game and I kept looking up at him expecting that I was supposed to leave.
He took my book and my pencil and placed it into the book to save my place, and then told me that the book was pretty tame for a lit major not really thick. He placed it on the table and I picked it back up to show him--or I took the book back from him I dunno. I think I had to pick it up and I told him why it was Meta. He shut me up and told me to play.
So I did.
He's brilliant. He did however leave without saying good bye. Not good. But he returned my e-mail good. Just weirdly. Saturday I'm supposed to volunteer at Flight Night and he was like--if you you just want to come look around and see what we offer fine, and if you want to volunteer this is what you do... fine... but what did he want me to do? I freaked out this morning. FREAKED OUT. Am still in the process of freaking out...
