Hong Kong was fun.
I'm back in Chengdu now, and it's boring. It's practically a ghost town right now, because everyone's gone home for Chinese New Year. I thought being in China for Chinese New Year would be really exciting, but now I think it's a little like being Jewish on Christmas. Lauren and I ate western food and went to a movie--since Jewish people usually eat Chinese food and go to a movie on Christmas, right? We saw Constantine. It was kind of dumb, but entertaining.
I bought a DVD player and a speakers/subwoofer set, to entertain myself. And I've been playing my guitar a lot. I wrote two new songs this weekend, and I've been recording them on my computer. Maybe once I get them sounding good enough, I'll export them into MP3 format and put them on the internet for all to listen...
