Had a fine time in America (and Canada). Whistler was most excellent, and my mom made me food that was triumphant. To all my old friends that I saw here--damn good to see you.

I'm leaving for the airport in about 13 minutes, and then I'm off to Hong Kong. I'll spend a week there for Chinese new year, and then I'm going to spend another week at god-knows-where, and I'll finally be back to Chengdu around the 20-something-th of this month. And then I'll start my second semester at Sichuan a little more well-travelled, and probably a little bit fatter--I haven't exactly been on a diet here, and Hong Kong is supposed to have some of the best food in the world... Can't wait!
