Dreams

I always thought dreams were dreams
Because they were supposed to be unattainable
But you came into my life and made me see
That dreams help us to want to achieve
Even the impossible that seems out of our reach
When we see that star
That is just out of our grasp
Never give up even when you think
That the path you have to travel will take you too far
Away from what you want in this life
A move that can cause us so much strife
But if you don’t try
How could you ever know
Where this dream could take you
Where you might go
