I hate people who think it's a terrible pity that everybody doesn't get out of America and see the "rest of the world." Nine times out of ten they mean western Europe, and eight times out of ten they aren't the ones who have to pay their bills.
I bought The Satanic Verses this weekend and am terribly excited to read it, once I finish Slaughterhouse Five. Vonnegut's topics and characters are not generally of the type that interest me, but his writing is so damn amazing and the payoff so great in the end that it's worth it.
Got an A in the Shakespeare class, rightonrighton. I really don't think I've earned my GPA on substance--I feel like most of it was bullshit that sounded smart because it was phrased in gramatically correct complex sentences. Fuck it, I'll take it.
And also, don't click on anybody's "this is very interesting" links, and if you did, delete yours.
