myphotoshopbrushes.com/how_to_create_photoshop_brushes - how to make your own Photoshop brushes.  A lot of times, the brushes you download off the internet are for the newest version of PS, so for a lot of us who use the older versions (like PS 7.0) they won't import into the program.  But, if your download comes with image files, you can create your own brush from the image files.  If you already have your image file from the download, just skip to Step 7 - the previous steps are only if you're making a brush from scratch.  Making a brush from an image file is so insanely easy!  I usually just open up all the image files from a brush pack at the same time, then just go down the line saving them as brushes.
