If you lovely X-Files fans are planning on hitting up the Museum of American History to see the X-Files memorabilia that CC et al donated over the summer, don't bother. They're not on display.
After spending the morning arguing with my fiance that he HAD TO TAKE ME THERE, RIGHT NOW, HE PROMISED FOR WEEKSANDWEEKSANDWEEKS, riding the rickety, ass-smelling Metro, and wearing inappropriate shoes that made my shin splints scream in protest, we search the entire museum and find out that what we came to see is NOT ON DISPLAY.
You SUCK, Smithsonian. Thanks for wasting my one day off.
In other news......
I've been reading way too much X-Files fanfic recently. Truth On The Road owns my soul.
I also found out that my cousin, who I haven't seen in probably 6+ years and just recently found over on Facebook, is a big fat giant X-Files fan. Now at least SOMEONE will understand what I'm talking about when I start recapping episodes.
