You are introverted, reserved, and quiet with a preference for solitude and solitary activities. Your socializing tends to be restricted to a few close friends. You can be very easily upset, even by what most people consider the normal demands of living. People consider you to be extremely sensitive and emotional. A desire for tradition does not prevent you from trying new things. Your thinking is neither simple nor complex. To others you appear to be a well-educated person but not an intellectual. People see you as tough, critical, and uncompromising and you have less concern with others' needs than with your own. You like to live for the moment and do what feels good now. Your work tends to be careless and disorganized.

Under the neuroticism section it got it right on:

You feel tense, jittery, and nervous and often feel like something dangerous is about to happen. You may be afraid of specific situations or be just generally fearful. You feel enraged when things do not go your way. You are sensitive about being treated fairly and feel resentful and bitter if you think you are being cheated. You tend to lack energy and have difficult initiating activities. You are sensitive about what others think of you. Your concern about rejection and ridicule cause you to feel shy and uncomfortable around others. You are easily embarrassed and often feel ashamed. Your fears that others will criticize or make fun of you are exaggerated and unrealistic, but your awkwardness and discomfort may make these fears a self-fulfilling prophecy. You feel strong cravings and urges that you have difficulty resisting. You tend to prefer short-term pleasures and rewards over long-term consequences. High levels of stress can lead to you feeling panic or confusion, but usually you cope with day to day pressures.

Nothing too interesting has been going on lately, just work. Blergh, 2 weeks ago I was working and everything was normal until I put Bree on the table to put her shoes on to go outside and suddenly she vomitted. And how. I didn't think she was going to stop. I had to leave her on the table while I went and dry retched into the sink, it was disgusting. Anyway, I managed to get it all cleaned up, although she vomitted another 8 times during the day. That had to be the worst day EVAH. AT least I'm prepared for when she's sick again, if one had to look at the bright side.

Speaking of work, Nadeen wants me to be her cleaner, starting from next year. I told her she better give me a test run as I'm not known as the world's greatest cleaner [read: I live in filth]. But I'll give it a try, it's extra money.

Winter is now over *tear*. Although today was freezing because it was blowing like a bitch here. The wind was literally howling and as I was trying to sleep this morning, doors kept slamming and I got very grumpy.

Nan and Grandad go away on holidays next Friday for about a month. YIPPEE! And then a week later my aunt and uncle go away too, which means I'll be housesitting for 2 weeks by myself. So you know I'll disappear then because I can play The Sims 2 on their computer. Oh! Birthday news! I'm probably getting a new computer for my birthday. I told everyone that I'm happy for it to be a Christmas present as well, so hopefully the thought of not having to buy me a Christmas present will sway them onto the idea.

Pompeii Am Götterdämmerung - The Flaming Lips
The lyrics aren't important for this song, just listen to the music, especially the drums.

Melpomene - Kashmir
Think of a mix between Radiohead and Coldplay. This song is an m4a file though, so download only if you have iTunes or are capable of converting.

Maple Leaves - Jens Lekman
I don't know how to describe his music so from Wikipedia, ...His work is often compared to that of Stephin Merritt of the Magnetic Fields, Jonathan Richman (a la one of the two dudes who kept commenting on the plot in the film There's Something About Mary), and Morrissey (a la the lead vocalist for The Smiths). He's Swedish (not that it matters, I just thought I'd mention it) and his songs seem very self-deprecating, which is kind of charming. This is also an m4a file, curses!

In This Home On Ice - Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
If you can get past the lead singers voice, you'll find an amazing band, but that is asking a lot. I hated the album the first time I listened to it, but the second time I listened, I loved it, and it has easily become one of my favourite albums of the past year. This song is one of the more mellow songs of the album, the rest being mainly indie pop/rock fun.

Going, Going, Gone - Stars
This Canadian indie pop band are absolutely awesome. I'm not usually a fan of bands that have both a male and female singer but it works perfectly for this group. Although on this song it's just Amy Millan singing, her voice is perfection - beautifully haunting and sexy at the same time.

Expectations - Belle & Sebastian
The first B&S song I fell in love with. Spoken mostly, rather than sung, the lyrics are occasionally hard to understand through the Scottish accent. Nevertheless, it's a gorgeous, brilliant song. This one is also an m4a file, I'm sorry about that.
