The library was closed today for employee training. Nerts. I went to Panera Bread to exploit their free wi-fi instead. It was not as pleasant an experience, the place was loud and the connection very spotty. Still, have to keep the lappy up-to-date.
A police officer came by to serve a summons for Britain regarding his unpaid child support. I told him that Britain didn't live here anymore, but that I knew somebody who knew where he was and that we might be able to drop it off. He left it with us and I hope that's legitimate. Mom said she wouldn't have done that but didn't say why and seemed upset about it.
Jack in the Box has the tastiest mozzarella sticks I've eaten to date: A subtly-spiced crust and non-stale fried cheese inside. And no bone shards or e. coli in them yet.
After a few weeks without it, we've finally had some rain today.
