Art from the remainder of the week up to this morning:

http://img186.imageshack.us/my.php?image=4282007ganglyandgoofyap1.jpg - Unfortunately I ran out of Mead brand paper, and this Wal-mart substitute doesn't scan well. I've had lots of people, including Sammie, complain about the lines when I show them the pictures. Is it finally time for me to move to copier paper? It would be more expensive.
My sleeping has gone all pear-shaped again. After eating a whole order of Chinese food at once (sans about 1/3 of the fried wontons, which I saved for lunch the next day), I fell asleep around seven and then woke up around 12:50 the next morning. I stayed up until about 5:30, got in a quick nap, and then went to work. That was the day before yesterday. I had to work a half-day Friday, and when I got home I ended up falling asleep around 5 in the evening and once again sleeping until late at night, then taking another nap in the early morning. Now that it's a weekend I won't be stuck to a strict "must be awake by 6:15, must work until 5:30" schedule, and my sleepery will probably fly further off kilter.
Work is going fine aside from the fact that I never get one of those fabled 3 day weekends this job was supposed to be built around. Not a whole one, anyway. I get along well with my coworkers and we're getting caught up to the flood of orders pretty quickly. Chris (aka Moomoo, a former comedian of no small accomplishment) and I cut up all the damn time, and because of where our group is located this is acceptable. Had we been on the hand soldering line, even talking too much would have brought done some swift disciplinary action. I love being able to joke around all day while still getting work done.
I'm really jonesing for a laptop. I have other things to pay for first, like some non-essential work on my car, and the state taxes thereon. Also, I'm still paying the car loan off and have a few thousand to go. I received two paychecks from the paper office which total more than my federal income taxes, plus I'm getting more than three hundred dollars every week we have overtime at work. I still have a couple of thousand in my savings and checking accounts. Should I take the plunge and look into buying a lappy?
