Well, what if I do like the president, but just by chance I don't buy anything? Would that be supporting not-supporting him? Or would it just be me being thrifty? So if I do like the president, should I make a point to buy tons of stuff to compensate for what everyone else is buying? Or would that just be dumb? Or, what if I thought the idea of not spending any money is cool, but I don't support what everyone is doing it for? Can I do it, but still like the president? I think I want to do it, just because I'd like to see if there is actually any effect. It's just all way too contrary.
There won't be an effect. but that's not the point
SageWriters (the group who started this campaign) either didn't do a good enough job with publicity, or never intended to. The real purpose of this is an act of solidarity.
Seeing a retard take the office for the second time in a row was a blow to alot of liberals who tried their asses off to make a change. This is a way to bring them back together for a common cause and say "We're down, but we're not out yet."
I guess you could spend a ton of money on shit you don't need to stick it in the face of those who care about the world they live in, but how would that be any differant than any other day in America?
Alright, except I do care, I resent the fact that just because I have a different opinion on the leadership of this country somehow I don't care about it? I'm sorry your candidate lost the presidency, and I'm sorry the person I'm supporting won, but that does not in anyway give you the right to make the assumption that I don't care. Obviously the president cares, otherwise he would not have put in the effort to run again, or in the first place. Just because his cares differ from yours is no reason to accuse him or me of not caring.
okay, by that logic, Hitler cared about the Jews, he just cared for them in a "differant" way than the way everyone else did.
You can care about something, but do it in the wrong way. Like all those people who tried to do CPR to injured people and wound up injuring them further because they didn;t know what they were doing.
look, I'm not trying to assault your beliefs. I know better than to try to force my opinion on another. I'm just defending my view on the subject. My intent was not to offend you.
BUSH IS NUMBER 1!!!!!!! BUSH IS NUMBER 1!!!!!!! BUSH IS NUMBER 1!!!!!!! BUSH IS NUMBER 1!!!!!!! BUSH IS NUMBER 1!!!!!!! BUSH IS NUMBER 1!!!!!!! BUSH IS NUMBER 1!!!!!!! BUSH IS NUMBER 1!!!!!!! BUSH IS NUMBER 1!!!!!!! BUSH IS NUMBER 1!!!!!!! BUSH IS NUMBER 1!!!!!!!
besides, how can you say you care about the world if u don't support a war to free innocent people being repressed by a tyrant? we had every right to go in there and do something about it, maybe not the best timing, but it was better than never.
bush is an asshole. first of all, dont post anonymously that bush is number 1. say ur name, tell who u are. ur opinion isnt wrong its just not the same as mine. i wont hate u because u have a different opinion.
i support the troops. i do not support this war. i dont believe it is a war to free innocent people being repressed by a tyrant. if it were, then why isnt it over yet. it is said to be a war on terrorism. thats bullshit. u cant fight against hateful thoughts even if u are the most influential and powerful nation known of on the earth. what are they going to go in and interview everyone wiht a gun to their head and tell them not to lie. of course people will lie, they will say they love the USA. but that doesnt mean its their belief. stop being so ignorant, u cant find a fucking war against thoughts and opinions. thats what terrism is, thoughts and opinions that are acted out.
