Slippin and slidin
Last night I had to stay til about 8:00 for my Invasive Bio class. It's a great class and the professor is pretty cool. We got our midterms back last night and I got an A, so I was happy about that. We have to do group projects and my group is doing one about biodiversity and invasive species. We're using plants to test whether or not the success of an invasive species is affected by different levels of diversity. So we'll see how that goes.
Yesterday we had a snow storm here. It stopped pretty fast though and melted. But then the temperature dropped and so everything froze over. Driving was treacherous. My friend and I almost got into an accident when the car starting skidding on the ice. It took almost two hours to get home from school. Public transportation was definitely a better idea.
So today I had work. The day went by fast. I went ahead and decided to tell my boss what was on my mind. I told him that I'd like to stay, if we could work something out. He said he'd think it over, as I expected he would. I also had my interview today for the other position I applied for. I think it went pretty well. What's going to happen? What am I going to do? I have no idea.
