So, things may finally be starting to look up.

I started a new job last week, working in the car park of St. Vincent's hospital in the city. I'm keeping the Etihad Stadium car park job too, since they mainly are only asking me to work on weekends now. If I can juggle the two jobs competently, then my bank account should be looking healthier in no time.

Starting on Saturday, I'll be house sitting for some friends of my dad's for a month, which will be fun. It'll be nice to have a house all to myself, and not have to put up with some of the lowlifes that I live with. Now that I'm going to be earning more money, it might be about time to think about moving out of here. About the only thing this place had going for it was the low cost of living here. While I'm still paying low rent, I've since had to start paying bills, which is annoying. The bill gets split evenly, which is really all the landlord can do, I suppose, but it's not exactly fair that I have to shell out $22 for the phone bill when in the last month, I would have used the house phone less than half a dozen times. My 12 month contract will be up in August. Could be time I thought about exploring other options.
