Prance Cave

I have a friend who loves to dance... and dont get me wrong, I also love to dance... tho my idea of dancing, or the preferred atmosphere of dancing, is much different than my friends. I enjoy dancing at shows but not in the crowded parts, in house's, or at places where no one else is dancing, for one simple reason... I am a tall boy and I find when I dance in a large crowd I end up elbowing peole in the head, and pretty much hurting other human beings solely by accident, so when Im in a crowd I have to "watch" myself, which hinders my freedom of movement, which is really all that dancing is.

Now my friend on the other hand, seems to love going to "bars" or "clubs" where there is dancing, mind you the music has to be good, no dance music, but actual good rock, or indie, stuff that you can dance to, but isnt the latest club trak. So when I went to this friends house to "party" he states that we are going dancing at the dance cave. My immediate reaction is "I dont want to dance there" but I will go and get my drink on, with the possibility of half dancing (like I have to due to crowds). So we go, and when we get there, the person (my friend) who was most excited about going, (it was pretty much his idea) didnt even want to dance!!! and when offered a drink he replied "naw, I just want to dance" but instead of dancing he took the roll of sour puss and decided that he could make any aspect of this night into a negative one "the music isnt good" (how can someone even know that) "no ones dancing" the answer to that one was, "well lets go dance then" I was hyped on dancing without the rest of the bar doing it, because then I have room and I dont have to worry about a rogue elbow taking out some beautiful girl simply enjoying herself, well I dont want to ruin someones night. My friends night somehow was ruined when we got there, so get these banana's he was the first to leave.

So me and a friend decide to stay and drink, because we enjoy wallowing in the absurdity of whatever situation we may be brought into. Before I go on, let me say one thing, bringing people to a place and then being the first to leave, and leave early at that... is super super lame. It atually is very angering, but whatevs thats just me. So he leaves, and two of us stay for what became a drunken walk home of epic proportions... I was drunk, but my friend was hammered, he even denounced reality, and pretty much fucked up whatever he could. He walked away with a patchy memory of the nights happenings, two sore knees, a scrape on one, ripped jeans, a broken knuckle, and a nice hangover. I had a blast watching him, and directing him when he started to trail off in the wrong directions (one time I thought I was going to have to chase him through a park).

well, that was my saturday, yesterday I got more green and had a wonderful time watching the prime time cartoons from wonderful FOX television at the rexdale hideout (my friends house)

so its monday now, and I am almost positive that by the end of this week, my fliptricking mission will be beginning.

good luck to me
and a love to you
