If imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, then the guys at YourHRGuy must be happy. I really like this new theme, and I'll be playing with it a bunch over the next few days to personalize it more, so I appreciate your patience while I temporarily break my website. Baseball Delusions will probably keep the old theme - I'll be updating that blog more as baseball becomes more relevant, but since my winter league is over, I haven't been doing much except off-season workouts with the high school team and keeping in shape myself.

Speaking of, I'm under 200 pounds again, which is good, but I'm not too concerned with scale weight. I'm trying to reach a 300 pound squat by Christmas, which I think is totally doable (current 1RM is 265 lbs). Switching over to a diet that is higher in fats and protein and lower in carbs has helped me feel much better and keeps me fuller throughout the day. It's probably going to be much harder to go on 3 mile runs, but my gains in lifting are there, so it's a worthy tradeoff in the winter.

working out, baseball
