Why is it that when you are stressed, more stressful things come down on you?
Allie called me to pick her up at the Holyoke Mall because her 1992 Honda Accord with its rusted body was stolen. I doubt they need her gym clothes and sneakers. Now what? At least I am on vacation for a few days and can help her out with rides, but really!

Update: The car was found, minus a door, stereo, jacket, and Allie's not-so-luxurious gym clothes. They didn't take the sneakers, but they did take all the trash except for an apple core. No one should have this happen to them, but Allie experienced a great outpouring of love and help in dealing with the situation.
It will take a few days for the insurance adjuster to look at the car and make a decision. Meanwhile, Allie has Ken's car for the weekend so she can go to work at 6:30 am. I'm still off until 2 on Tuesday, so she has me for rides and help shopping for a replacement vehicle.
